EAS profiles
What development, preview, and production builds are for.
Three build profiles, one environment variable each:
- development builds a development client for day-to-day device work with live reloading and native modules like sign-in.
- preview builds an internally-distributed APK for trying release-like builds — the channel that already carries Firebase values.
- production builds the release candidate with auto-incremented versions for store submission.
The dynamic config rejects any EAS build missing Firebase values or the Android services file. Later development and production channels need the same eight variables the preview channel already has before building.
