Environment variables

Every public variable the app reads, placeholders only.

All of these are EXPO_PUBLIC_ names, which means they ship inside the app bundle. Treat them as public configuration: never put secrets in them. The service-account key, the services file, and any server mail credentials described in the deletion notes stay server-side or ignored.

VariablePurpose
EXPO_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_API_KEYFirebase client key.
EXPO_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAINFirebase auth domain.
EXPO_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_PROJECT_IDFirebase project.
EXPO_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_STORAGE_BUCKETFirebase storage bucket.
EXPO_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_MESSAGING_SENDER_IDFirebase sender id.
EXPO_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_APP_IDFirebase app id.
EXPO_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_WEB_CLIENT_IDOAuth client for native sign-in.

Without the Firebase values the app runs fully offline as a guest; with them — plus a development or production build — sign-in and sync activate.
